What changed

The app is now called Ephorhelm and carries the helm mark on its window, tray and installer.

Sign in to your Ephorhelm account from Settings: a short code, one click through to ephorhelm.ai, and the app is licensed to this machine.

Automatic updates: new versions download in the background and a toast offers to restart into them.

This What’s New pane, with a dot on the sidebar pill whenever there is something you have not read.

Push to talk: hold Ctrl+Shift+Space, speak, and the text lands in the active prompt. Recognition runs locally; nothing leaves the machine.

Help pane on F1: every shortcut, what each session state means, and troubleshooting.

Settings pane on Ctrl+, : theme, first prompt, restore behaviour, hand-off text, voice, notifications and the catalog.

Dark, light or follow Windows - the terminal palette moves with the rest of the app.

Hand off and exit: Ephorhelm waits until a session is idle, asks Claude to write its hand-off, then closes it cleanly. One session or all of them.

Safe to close: a row says so once it has handed off, and closing a live session asks whether to hand off first, close and resume later, or cancel.

Context, CPU and memory gauges share one set of bands: green to 50 per cent, amber to 80, red from 81.

The picker opens groups expanded, lets you tick several projects and open them together, and closes on Escape from anywhere.

Sessions close themselves when Claude exits; a setting keeps the shell open if you prefer.

The window no longer freezes for seconds at a time: git runs off the main thread, the tray only redraws when something changed, and window position is saved once you stop dragging.

Context and spend now show for sessions started inside Ephorhelm (the statusline command was being mangled before it ran).
